  • Ending echo: at the end of the sentence
  • Reverse Echo: reverse the meaning in the echo

Instructions

  • Read through Marc Antony's speech on pages 59-63
  • Note where he uses repetition. Why does he use repetition? To what effect?
  • Divide a sheet of paper in to 2 columns. In the left hand column, write down at least 5 quotes where he uses repetition. In the right hand column, write a brief response to his repetition in which you analyze the effect and/or his purpose.
  • Identify which forms of repetition he uses.
