Work Experience Presentation

Favorite/Funny Moments

Likes and Dislikes

Most important lesson learned

*All of the workers there would make jokes of each other

*My employers gossiped about people

*My manager always gossiped about her mother-in-law

Location and Name

Likes: Nice Co-workers, Not to hard, Filing was easy, Didn't have to stand for a long time, many patients were nice, it was always busy, never got bored

Dislikes: Office space was less, lunch was short, some patients were restless and didn't want to wait, some people wanted things to happen their own way

The lesson that I learnt was that communication is key in any work place. If you don't communicate with each other you won't solve any problems that come up.

Roles and Responsibilities

Feedback

Impact on future careers

Ongoing Involvement

with employer

* taking files out

*calling patients

*putting the files back

*making appointments

*taking appointments

*taking swabs down to the lab

*printing reports

*faxing reports

Day to day feedback: I didn't really get a day to day feedback. Since all I had to do was take out files I didn't really do anything that needed fixing.

My manager has offered my a job on the weekends

All of the skills that I have learned in my workplace will surely have a positive effect on my future jobs because I learned to communicate well and that will help me do my future jobs more easily. But I don't see myself working there in the future because most of the work is filing and I want to do something that is more involved with people.
