Direct Democracy Differences

- Population is represented with people they elect into office. They make the laws for the people.
- Works better in larger populations.
- They have elections to vote on the representatives they want in office.
- Decisions and laws have to go through the many branches of the government and they all have to agree before they can take action.
- People do not elect representatives to make the laws, but make the laws themselves.
- Works better in smaller populations.
- The people decide on all the decisions so they don't need an election to vote on representatives

- Both governments are controlled by the people either directly or indirectly
- Both are democracies and give the population the power. It is just depends on your population on which one will be used.
