I wish I could remember that first day,
First hour, first moment of your meeting me,
If bright or dim the season, it might be
Summer or Winter for aught I can say;

In this "stanza" Rossetti had forgotten she and her lover first met, and she wish to remember it, she could not remember any detail on the first met (refer third & fourth line). This show that maybe she know the person for every long time, maybe she through that it doesn't important until now
So unrecorded did it slip away,
So blind was I to see and to foresee,
So dull to mark the budding of my tree
That would not blossom yet for many a May.

In this "stanza", Rossetti regard that she forget a small thing til it turn big then she realize it.
In" third" & and "fourth" line Rossetti use the word of 'tree' to descried her love,
she doesn't realize the single grass til it turn into huge tree that make she couldn't ignore it.
She hope that if she had not forget it.

This as the tittle mention, Rossetti had forgotten she and her lover first meet, it also show that she doesn't fall in love with first meet, she know her lover for a long time before they fall in love together, this poem show she is regard she forgot the first day they met.
Rossetti write this poem as Sonnet, which mean the poem have 14 line, regular rhyme and rhythm - almost every line is 10. It can show that Rossetti really want to recall the memories that she lost.(Because write a sonnet need a lot of passion)

In this "stanza" Rossetti mention again she forgot unreasonable thing for her, she did not think that this 'little' had much mean at now. If she could call back that day, she would have never forgot it.
