I am focusing on Aboriginal women roles for cooking in the olden days. How hard they worked, what they did and if they actually did more than everyone thinks.

Women played a very important role in the life of aboriginals. They were more than just mothers for the children. They were builders, farmers, and craftswomen. Their strength was essential for the tribes.the women were in charge of gathering materials and then building the homes for everyone.

HUNTING

the women could only sometimes go hunting with the men because of all the other jobs the posses. the food they help hunt usually are:

  • Berries
  • Native fruits
  • yams
  • small animals
  • goanna

Women Roles

conclusion

Many tribes believed that the women had healing power and were able to help sick souls. they were amazingly helpful and They also made beautiful blankets, baskets, and pottery ect.

They cared for their children and husbands, just like the modern woman do today. Without their help, it would have been very difficult for the aboriginals tribes to survive easily.
