Public and private entiteies found to have committed discrimination against women are subject to the sanctions. if the Commission on Human Rights finds that a department or agency of government has violated any provision of the magna carta of women the sanction under administrative law, civil service or other appropriate laws shall be recommended to the Civil Service Commission or to the DILG. The person directly responsible for the violation as well as the head of the agency shall be held liable. if the violation is committed by a private entity the person directly responsible for the violation shall be held liable to pay damages.
Violation is perpetrated by agents of the State including, but not limited to extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, torture, and internal displacements, shall be considered aggregating offenses with corresponding penalties depending on the severity of the offenses.
