Summary
Although it is up to the schools discretion on how to conduct Bullying/Cyber Bullying awareness, we believe that it would be beneficial if the school district provided a county wide program in order to assure all schools are receiving the same information. This will allow the consistency throughout the student’s tenure in the Harford County Public School System. The Board of Education, Administration, Faculty & Staff and Community involvement will supply a strong backing for the program and ensure the program’s success across all grade levels. The data has shown that the majority of our school population has at some point been a victim of harassment and the county needs to take the initiative to help protect our school community.
Needs Assessment Continued
- In 2013, a Harford County Middle and High School were sued for the failure to stop harassment.
