A Viceroy has an authority on behalf of the Sovereign. A Senate is the upper house parliment. New France had a Minister of Navy, and present day has a House of Commons. A Minister of Navy is the headof the department of the navy. A house of Commons is a component of the Parliment. New France has a Governor, present day has a Prime Minister. A Governor of New France was the viceroy pf the King in France. New France had an Intendant, present day Canada has Legislative Branch. An Intendant is a title given to a high ranking official or administrator. A Legislative Branch is the governorment that writes, debates, and passes laws.
