And children's faces looking up
Count many a year of strife well lost
Eyes that love you, arms that hold
Spend all you have for loveliness
Presentation by: Jadian C. Green & Shayan Shahrostambeik
Give all you have been, or could be
Life has loveliness to sell
All beautiful and splendid things
Holy thought that start the night
Soaring fire that sways and sings
Music like a curve of gold
Holding wonder like a cup
For one white singing hour of peace
Life has loveliness to sell
And your spirit's still delight
Blue waves whitened on a cliff
And for a breath of ectasy
Scent of pine trees in the rain
Buy it and never count the cost
Holy thoughts that start the night
In "Barter" by Sara Teasdale, she speaks of all beauty that life has to give. When she says "spend all you have for loveliness" I think she is saying that there is no limit on what to do for love. She also speaks of what beauty nature offers because it is a beauty that people often forget.
