Africans were brought to America against there will. They were brought to America and put into slavery. They were brought to America by the Trans Atlantic slave trade.
Some words, brought from Africa are, bogus, phony, guy, mumbo -jumbo, rap, goober, gumbo, and banjo. Thats only some of them.
Culture
The culture they brought from Africa was stuff like food and music. The food they made was known as "Soul Food". Soul Food consisted of beans, collards, cress, kale, cornmeal and pork. The genres of music African Americans are credited with creating jazz, blues, gospel, soul, rock and roll,hip hop, and rap.
