There are more than 100,000 gang related crimes that happen anually in sacramento and most of them end up in deaths which are mostly consisted of youth between ages of 16 - 25. The chances of you ending up in a violent crime is 1 in 162 in whole of sacramento which itself is a scary number.

• Sunday May 29th , 2016 Macy Murphy was shot dead inside a car in a South Sacramento neighborhood. the police got a call around 2:45 saying a young female sitting unresponsive outside in a parked car

• On Friday night, three hours before the originally scheduled SJS Division II game between Grant and Beyer.

• Most cities with a population of more than 250,000 report gang activities.
• 11% of rural counties report gang activities.
• 40% are juveniles (under 18) which is about 400,000 teenage gang members.

• Macy is from oak park where she represents "HELLGANG". the suspect of the murder of 15 year old Macy is 17 year old Christopher Simpson he was later charged with murder

• Grant Union High School Pacers Corner back Jaulon Clavo, better known as "JJ" On Late day November 13, 2015. While hanging with friend Clavo was shot and later died from injuries. It is said that Clavo was involved in gangs But later to acknowledge Clavo had no involvement with any gang activity and he was just at the wrong place a wrong time.

• To reach all kinds of people and groups to make our dedicated issue reach people who, are being affected and to show them better alternatives then being violent, by getting more relatable groups in schools or communities that youths can take part in for free.

• A 16 year old boy, who was shot and killed on October 3, 2015. He was gunned down in front of his grandmother’s house in the city’s Colonial Village neighborhood

• Deston Garrett, a Sacramento Charter High School student. A video was posted on The popular Website YouTube and in result the suspect Marshal (The victim's friend) angrily shot Garrett in the chest.

• Police say they believe the shooting was gang-related. His Father said her son was not in a gang, but may have been “hanging out with the wrong people. Simply wrong place at wrong time.

• Garret was quickly transported to the hospital, where he would later on die from his injuries.

• Friends and Family were even more sadden when Garrett was going to graduate from High school in a few months. Class of 2016
