Scoring

  • All tests are scored based on a pass/fail rate except for the written test.
  • Scores are converted to grade and age equivalents, grade and age based standard scores, percentile ranks, normal curve equivalents and stanines.

Writing

  • At level I

scores the writing of students name, 18 pass/fail items, and must earn a specified number of subcredits to pass.

  • At level II

assesses students response for certain characteristics i.e. capitalization, correct punctuation.
