For years, I have thought that there was absolutely no mineral stronger than diamond, but after studying I found a new mineral that may just overthrow diamond off its throne of being the strongest of all the minerals. It's name is lonsdaleite. Will it be the one to dethrone diamond off of its heavy duty strength?
Similar to its prestigious cousin, diamond, lonsdaleite is a mineral that when properly made, can equal in strength/hardness to pure diamond!
