Ancient Greece left the richest cultural legacy!

There where allot of restrictions in the ancient Greek Olympics like for example you must be a man that is greek in order to play in the games if you where a woman you would not be able to play. allot of the men that took park in the Olympics where formal soldiers or there would be soldiers that would train in the games. today the Olympic have less restrictions in order to join, you can be a woman.

Back in Greece the olympic games where a big religious event, the Olympics took place in Olympia which was said to be the home of the gods. they played the Olympics to honor the god Zeus, today the tradition still goes on but it takes place in a designated area, we don't play to honor Zeus though but we play to honor our country. Thanks to Greece we have an Olympic games.

The games that took place in the ancient Olympics where Chariot racing, foot racing, boxing, long jump and many more, today the Olympics can involve almost every sport but it depends on the climate, we still use long jump and the sprint not the chariot racing.

The Greeks where the first empire to use the coulombs, they are large poles to hold a structure like a roof or a balcony. the Greeks used this to symbolize the greatness of their riches and power. Today we still use this type of design on our monuments and government buildings, the Greeks gave this design and it will never dissipate from this world

Ancient Greek art is the most visual and realistic type of art, most art used oil paints and most sculptors use marble wood and stone. today we still use similar materials for our art and we gained it from the greeks.

The Greeks put allot of work into their buildings, they had thousands of people working on one building and how they built the large structures with low technology is a very large part in the steps to build a structure.

The architectural design in Ancient Greece was amazing. the most amazing buildings where usually government buildings or churches/temples because they where the most popular buildings at the time just like now.

The ancient Greeks had very minimal use of tools, they used a chisel and a hammer to be able to sculpt, we still use the same tools for painting but today we use electric drills and other upgraded tools like electric hammers.

In ancient Greece most art or sculptures where of rich,powerful or loyal people, only they could really afford that type of luxury. today anyone can get a sculpture but they choose not to get one because of the price and labor. The Greeks influenced us to keep sculpting going and to innovate how we do it.
