Langer-Giedion Syndrome
Jarod Higgins
This syndrome is caused by missing genes on the 8th chromosome.
Characteristics of this are learning difficulties, short stature, wispy hair, deep set eyes, small head and bone growths. These growths are also known as tumors.
There is no cure for any genetic disorder, but a way to lower the effects are facial and limbic reconstruction.
Diagnosis for the syndrome is normally made at birth or during early childhood. It is not inherited and is random in the development of a zygote.
