What is it?
- It defines art or any creative and innovative work that has been placed in a space, and it can be temporary or permenant.
- Comes in different formats: Flea markets, pop up exhibitions/ art galleries, Graffiti...
- Used to be a form of Vandalism and delinquency, but soon was accepted as a way of expression.

- Was considered as an act of creative vandalism by teenagers.
- Grown ups adopted this movement
- Creation through destruction process.
- Ground for experimenting without giving up on the rebellious position.

- The more urban art there is in an area the higher the market value of it.
- Arty areas will attract more cafes and restaurants that will also attract arty loving crowds.
- Landlords are requesting newer art to distract tenants from Graffiti that usually chases them away.
- It's becoming a huge factor for the gentrification process.
- Many artists are now protesting against this branding and some even removed some of their art.
