Me And My Music Experience
Hi everyone!!! Today I'm going to be telling you about my cultural experiences.
I am a sikh
I know I am a Sikh because: I participate in Bhangra. For Bhangra we dance on upbeat songs. My family goes to the Gurdwara's on special occasions and once every week. When we're there we listen to kirtan's.
My Foundation
I know that I belong in my culture because when I was a child my parents took me to many places like the gurdwara, punjab and ext.
One of my interests is in bhangra.
One of the event that me and my family go to every year is the Nagar Kirtan.
Another event we celebrate every year is Diwali, we light up diye and we do fireworks. When we are done we visit the Gurdwara.
The music makes me feel very energetic. As I said earlier the songs are very up beat. When I’m sad I listen to punjabi songs and then afterwards it cheers me up.
I have brought a Khanda, which I'm going to be showing you later on. The Khanda is a symbol of Sikhism.
