Battle of Fort Louisbourg

In order to get to Quebec, the British had to capture Fort Louisbourg.

- The British won the battle, and it was the key to the rise of the British power in North America.

- The battle lasted from Oct 14th to Nov 14 1793.

- The british won the battle and captured Fort Louisbourg.

After the battle the British used explosives to level the fort so the French didn’t want to take it back.

- If Fort Louisburgh wasn’t at the start of the St. Lawrence River, The British would easily attack Quebec.
