18 Whoever disregards discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored.
19 A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools detest turning from evil.

The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life,

A leader proves himself in the care of his wife and children
Do all things in your own family that you tell other men to do in theirs
Give the same quality of care to your wife and children that you give to others. At times we care for our household members but neglect our family. Never forget that CFC is family oriented.
Say no to certain needs if our priorities require us elsewhere
Do not compromise on truth, on God’s word, etc.
Make decisions based on standards of God’s word and direction of the Holy Spirit, not what will please others or how much difficulty you will encounter.
Avoid competition with other household heads, units, and leaders.
Be open to brethren for scrutiny and correction (especially to your Unit Head).
Good “masters” generally form good disciples
Verbal instruction alone is inadequate. It must be accompanied by active good example.
Be a visible model of Christ’s way of life
May God Be Praised!
