unlike other DNA virus variola virus multiplies in the cytoplasm of the host's cell.

The viruis travels through the blood stream and infects the bone marrow and lymph nodes.

This viruis attacks the skin cells as well.

You can get it by inhaling the virus, getting into close contacted with a infected person, and touching their infected belongings.

When it invades the body it gets through the mouth then the throat then it gets into the lymph nodes.

Types of small pox

- Ordinary Type produces the rash and the pus and more confluent the rash was it could be more fatal.

-Modified (happens when who been vaccinated for small pox and often mistaken for chicken pox

- Malignant (only 5-ten cases in children and often fatal)

Hemorrhagic (it causes mcous membranes, the skin and the internal organs to bleed it is fatal and only happens in adults known as black pox and death occcurs 5-7 days)

within 2-3 days the symptoms are gone

Then a rash may appear. usually on face, hands or forearms then it spreads

back in the old days people purposely infected themselves with the same virus from the fluids in the abscesses (swollen area in the body tissue) back in 1022 A.D.

Cow Pox (Current vaccination): infecting yourself with the cow pox disease doesn't harm the human body and causes immunity, but for cows it is very harmful.

Once you survivie the small pox you will get an immmunity to the small pox and never ever get it again.
