Le Chateau de Gisors is one of the many fortifications along River Epte which is a naturl border line between the two kingdoms between 1158 and 1160 the castle was under the control by the french King it then became a final prison of the Grand Master of the order. to this day legends of vast hordes of treasure hidden in the castle by the templars but none have been found.
