Who am I?
I am Jessica Garcia. I am in my last year in Cloud computing Science in NCI. I am an Intern in Technology Strategy and Architecture at Deloitte’s this summer 2017.
Dog walking Dublin is my final project mandatory prerequisite for completition for the Higher Diploma in cloud computing science in NCI faculty.
What is this Service about?
Dog walking Dublin is a web browser application available in Heroku.
The Purpose of this application is to allow user to book a dog walker service.
This service will be available as a starting point in south Dublin areas :
- Booterstown
- Monkstown
- Stillorgan
- Blackrock and Seapoint
with further plans to expand to whole of Dublin.
Dog walking Dublin will offer Three types of users:
dog walker
dog owner
Administrator
Who are my customers?
My Customers
My Customers are located on the areas mentioned before, furthemore in order to become a Dog owner or a Dog walker, it must be filled the form on line, which will be approved by the admin. This is part of our security process to protect our customers and dog walkers.
Which problem did I approach
the service industry maintained growth and over the next 5 years, growth will continue as consumers have more disposable income to spend on their pets, but have longer working hours.
Dog Walking Dublin provides a new service for Dog-Lovers in south Dublin, this Summer.
Goals
I found this project very challenging, which gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge at managing time, prioritise tasks, problem solving and develop new skills.
Those values, where my key to get a successful development and final delivery.

How did I solve the problem?
Dog Walking Dublin team made a study about the actual market, what they are doing and what they aren't.
Dog Walking dogs is a blended from those companies and its own esence . The problem was solved through an easy and fast booking system which let users leave comments,pick services and see profiles.

. User Login
• The system will have a dog’s owner/dog’s walker and admin profile, letting each of them access to different functionalities.
. User Register
The system will have a register form which allow a new user to become a dog walker or dog owner and able to make a booking through the web application.
and Extra Functionalities:
- Location
Dog’s Owner Users will be able to book a Dog Walker by Location.
. Book a Service
Dog’s owner user will be able to pick any special service, dates and choose available time slot, so that the systems will shows profiles available at that time and being able to rate the service at end.
. Reviews
This function will have a comment system that allows users leave some references or opinions from services.

Limits
Some of the Limits,we can find are:
• Service not Available without Internet connection.
• A dog walker must have been accredited by dog walking Dublin.
• Records from Dog Walking Dublin must need to be kept for confidentiality and the requirements of data protection.
• Dog walker must know how to handle correctly the dogs also how to transport dogs safely and securely to and from the place of exercise.

The scope of this project is to provide a web application deployed in the cloud .It must provide Sign In and Sign Up for the users, and extra features .
