Taekwondo is a Korean origin martial art and sport performed with bare hands and feet. Taekwondo emerged by bringing together the "Foot System" and the "Punch Method", which are two separate systems that emerged in the 600s.

Taekwondo is a sport that increases mental development. A taekwondo athlete grows up to be a self-confident, leader, peaceful and helpful, honest and moral, patriotic person.
In addition, Taekwondo, which provides physical development, helps reflex, strong physique, ability, healthy and balanced development.
Taekwondo sport is used as a defense sport. It is definitely not used as a fighting tool outside the hall!
We are united in the common cause of Atatürk. We train our souls and bodies in accordance with DO principles. We will obey the rules and regulations, obey the sports club we are affiliated with and our teachers.
WHITE BELT
It means cleanliness, purity, harmless, innocence.
Athletes who are the first to start taekwondo and do not have any prior knowledge about taekwondo wear them.
YELLOW BELT
It means to root. Just as a seed thrown into the ground sprouts, takes root and says hello to the world after a while, an athlete who has passed to the yellow belt is now rooted in the world of taekwondo, has learned its principles and is ready to develop.
GREEN BELT
To exile means to grow. In taekwondo, the person has now started to gain skills related to taekwondo.
BLUE BELT
It means to reach the sky. Just as the tree that gives a shoot completes its development after a while and becomes a magnificent tree, the taekwondo player has now completed its development, learned the basic techniques and started to mature gradually.
RED BELT
It means danger. A taekwondo player in the red belt now has a build to consider. He is in a structure to easily eliminate his opponents who warn his opponents who attack him, but do not listen to his warning.
BLACK BELT
It means maturity. It is the opposite of white. It represents maturity and professionalism in taekwondo. It contains a character structure that does not shy away from dangers and knows no fear.
The athlete who wears a black belt means that he has reached both a perfect aesthetics physically and a personality at the top of the moral rules of the society in terms of mood.
The black belt is the highest level. But there are degrees of black belt as well. These are called "Dan" and are numbered 1 to 9. Athletes under the age of 15 are called "Poom Dan" if they reach the Dan level.
