What did the Persians do for food?
Persian farmers grew wheat, barley, olives, and wine. They raised cattle, goats, and sheep. Hunting and fishing were also important source of food for the Persians.

By the time of 650 BCE, the Zoroastrian faith, a religion founded on the ideas of the philosopher Zoroaster, had become the official religion of ancient Persia. Later Judaism and then Christianity came to Persia/Mesopotamia, with both developing vibrant faith communities in Persian lands. And their god was {Ahura Mazuda} which the persians said she was the creator of the good and bad spirits.
