Batman Begins Hero Journey

ORDINARY WORLD

Bruce Wayne is born into a lavish lifestyle. Richest family and is suppose to take over Wayne Enterprise later in life.

CALL TO ADVENTURE

Bruce falls into a bat cave when he is young.Also his parents are killed in a robbery one night. Told to meet with Ra’s al Guhl and offered to join the League of Shadows.

REFUSAL OF THE CALL

Calls the league of shadows vigilantes when told to join. Bruce also refuses the wrong call when he is prompted to kill a man he turns against the league of shadows taking them down.

MEETING WITH THE MENTOR

Ducard who is really Al Guhl, teaches Bruce Wayne to fight and be able to take on hundreds of people. But throughout the rest of the story Lucius Fox and Alfred is his mentors.

CROSSING THE THRESHOLD

Bruce flies back to Gotham City to show that criminals do not run the people and to put fear into the people.

Enters the batcave and embraces the bats flying around him.

TEST; ALLIES; ENEMIES

- Bruce encounters Jim Gordon forming his alliance with him.

- Batman swoops down and takes out the criminals putting fear into Falcone as his people are ambushed. Then taking Falcone.

- Two men stalk Rachel from the subway. Batman helps her before the men attack. When Rachel turns and realizes that batman is standing their tries to taze him. He gives her photos for ‘leverage’ against Falcone and leaves before the cop comes.

- Batman is in the apartment as scarecrow and his men are getting rid of the evidence. He is gasssed by scarecrow and runs out and calls for help from alfred wakes up in the room and alfred and Lucius Fox is their.

APPROACH TO THE INMOST CAVE

Batman defeats scarecrow and finds that he is working under the rule of Ra’s Al Guhl which he thought was dead. Ra’s Al Guhl arrives at his party, he is forced to kick out all of his guest. Batman stands up to Al Guhl saying he is standing between him and the people of Gotham.

ORDEAL

Ra’s Al Guhl burns the building down leaving Bruce for dead. Alfred comes and saves him from the wreck bringing him down to the bat cave. Bruce recovers goes out to stop Al Guhl on the train from bringing the vaporizer to wayne tower and destroying the city’s people. Gordon takes down the tracks the train crashes and burns with Al Guhl and the water vaporizer befoe it reaches Wayne Tower.

REWARD (SEIZING THE SWORD)

Bruce defeats Al Guhl and is the owner of the Wayne Enterprise.

THE ROAD BACK

Rachel tells batman that his ordinary face is batman and Bruce Wayne is now his mask.

RESURRECTION

Bruce says that he will build the mansion brick by brick until it is back just the way it was and even stronger.

RETURN WITH THE ELIXIR

Batman returns on the rooftop and meets with Jim Gorden to begin the search for all criminals of Gotham City and the hunt for the Joker begins.
