  • 5S Implementation in the Workplace Training via Teams Meeting on 17-March-2022.
  • Weekly rating of our 5S performance with the help of our senior staff started from May-July 2022.
  • Some team members received a certificate of achievement & certificate of appreciation after a month.
  • We distributed document racks & pen holders to our team members.

Observation

  • It is mentioned in the recently published HR Buzz that HR & Admin Dept. complies with the 5S standards.
  • Unfortunately, most of our team members are not implementing the 5S in their workplace anymore.

Problems

  • Inconsistency of our team members in implementing the 5S in the workplace.
  • In case, the top management checks the situation of our department, they will question us for claiming that we are implementing the 5S in the workplace.

Solution

  • Refresher Training of the 5S Implementation in the Workplace for the team members.
  • Strict implementation of 5S in the workplace.
  • We will do the weekly rating of our 5S performance again with the help of our superiors.
  • Best 5S performances will be rewarded with a certificate of achievement monthly as a proof that they comply with the 5S Standards. It means that the employee is clean and organized in his/her workplace.

  • To be a 5S role model to other departments as it is originated from our department.
