Top 10 most important inventions of today and the future
Evan and Emma
With the new age of technology, today's inventions are intuitive and creative.
TODAY
We believe that Facebook from founder Mark Zuckerberg was the first company to show the importance of it.
The view of social media differs from person to person. What most people don't notice is how much Social Media has connected each other, from political movements, company accounts to our own personal accounts we've seen a fraction of the power and influence that Social Media has on the world.
The first augmented reality guided surgery in December 2019. This x vision device was created by Augmedics when their CEO Nissan Elimelech when he asked one simple question, "Wouldn't it be cool if surgeons had X-ray vision?" This device can take the CT scan of a patient and turn it into a 3-D visualization. This invention allows the surgeon to see almost under the skin of the patient they are performing on.
We believe this device is so important and advanced because overall it will save many lives and create less errors while performing surgery. The doctors can put all their focus into their procedure and the results will be more promising.
3D Printing from founder Chuck Hull is one of the fastest developing technologies that is set to revolutionize it's importance.
With the ability to have the power of 3d printing in any ordinary household, the ceiling for what 3d printing can do for this world is still being tested every day. From the prosthetic
e-Nable hand and Scott Summit's prosthetic limbs to future talks about artificial organs, 3d printing could be the solution to many problems today.
It's been less than a decade since the talk of reusable rockets and it's showcase but an ability that seems so simple can have the most drastic effect on our future.
The first thing we can point out is obviously how the concept of reusing is cost-effective, but how cost-effective is it with rockets? Incredibly effective. With the cost of some rockets reaching from 50m to 100m, the ability to re-use rockets saves an incredible amount and will definitely help space travel and exploration and the big idea of colonization on a different planet.
SpaceX's flagship reusable rocket, Falcon 9, capable of relaunching to carry people and payloads.
Dr Robb Akridge invented the Opulus Skin Care Treatment System in April of 2021. This hand held device has a small interior bowl where you place one of the two pods, a retinal pod and a restore, hydrate and rejuvenate one, then it warms up and creates a single-dose skincare product. The process to create your dose of skincare takes about one minute to be all ready. Now you can do your skincare when your product is at it's peak potency. This will simplify your routine, has an outlined routine for you with also using less products and cuts down on plastic waste and product waste.
We believe that this product will advance the skincare industry very positively. We think users will love the idea and feel of this product and will be able to help improve the environment.
FUTURE
With the ongoing development of technology, what are some future inventions can we predict that will push us further?.
What we can build with 3D printers is more important.
If we can continue to predict what we can build with 3D printers, then the world is in safe hands.
The development of organs and bones with 3D printers can change everything, from it being more affordable, accessible, this should be technology that can reach every corner of the world.
The future of aviation commercial travel...
Today, there are multiple future projects for hydrogen-fueled commercial aircraft.
Using hydrogen to create electricity to push gas-turbines is the next step towards a sustainable world. This not only goes for airplanes, but if any other form of transportation could use Hydrogen, then that would mean a zero-carbon emission.
Not only that, but if we did use Hydrogen for fuel, it would be more cost-effective while being environmentally friendly by the fact that Hydrogen is easily accessible.
Living in the 21st Century with big pushes with new technology. A future, highly praised technology is Virtual Reality Universes.
We can see development of the technology since last year when Facebook changed it's company to Meta, to promote it's push for the Metaverse.
The Metaverse is one of future VR universes creating a virtual, new world embedded with the internet. Not only is Facebook trying to create their own universe, but Sony, Google and others are interested too.
This device will project a 3-D image of the patients body which measures bio markers to determine things such as your hormone levels, your fat build up, your injuries, the dangerous illnesses in your body, the urgency in each illness you have, the number of cancers and much more. Every time you get scanned it will update your results.
This will give health experts a more precise and efficient way of tracking down a patient's medical issues without wasting any time. The doctors can prescribe medicine that can be more beneficial towards the patients exact needs.
Living concrete which was discovered by scientists from only using sand, gel and bacteria will be an incredible change for the earth. Living concrete is able to heal itself from any cracks that may be caused to regular concrete but this way the concrete will be able to fix itself reducing the usage of concrete which is the second most consumed material in the world. As cool as it is, it is also cool because it will have many great effects on the environment and will not impact the environment as much. This creation is much more sustainable and durable than regular concrete.
