AA Degree Requirements

Introduction

  • Eastern Florida State College requires students to take a variety of courses to complete your AA degree.

  • AA degrees are typically intended for students who would like to pursue a bachelor's degree in the future.

  • There are 6 CORE requirements and 60 credit hours.
  • 36 hours of General Education requirements, 24 hours of electives

Special Requirements

Special Requirements

It is important to meet the Civic Literacy requirement for your AA degree. We will go over this when we cover the Social/Behavioral Section.

Your Foreign Language requirement must be met for your AA through either:

  • 2 years of high school foreign language or ASL courses (sequential, same language), or
  • 2 semesters of foreign language (sequential, same language) at EFSC.
