The Guru Dakshina of Lord Krishna

This was the pastime where Lord Krishna, for his Guru Dakshina, had to bring back Sāndīpani Muni's son.

First he(lord Krishna) had asked his gurudev ,(Sāndīpani Muni), "what shall I give you for the Guru Dakshina my Gurudev". Then his Gurudev said," please bring back my dead son from the Yamaloka."

Next, Krishna had left for getting the son of Sāndīpani Muni. He had found the dead son in Yamoloka(the planet of lord Yamaraj)

Finally, Krishna brought the dead son and as soon as the mother and father of the son saw him, they rushed to their son and hugged their son.

Krishna had to bring the son back because it was the part of doing the Guru Dakshina. The Guru Dakshina is very important because the Guru first teaches us then he/she has to get a thing that the guru wants, so here, Sāndīpani Muni is asking Krishna to get back his dead son.

Narakāsura was the son of Dharitrī. He had been killed by Krishna because he tried to grasp the sky. His mother(Dharitrī) prayed to Krishna and Narakāsura returned. Krishna also entered his kingdom.

Kalayavana was the king of Magadha and Salva. He dicided to attack Mathura , but, the city was encircled by Kalayavana's soldiers. The Lord still had not killed Kalayavana's soldiers because he wanted to show the power of his own soldiers. He did not kill them personally by himself killing the soldeirs.

Why did Krishna not fight with the soldier.

Krishna did not fight with the soldiers because he wanted to show his own soldier's powers. He only let his soldiers fight so people know how powerful is his army.

The lord had brought the Parijata tree fom Haven. He had done that to please his wife just as an ordinary husband would do.But Indra, the King of heaven, induced by his wives (henpecked as he was), ran after the Lord with full force to fight Him.
