- Reduced cots of 'Patient Internet' project by engaging ICT hardware vendor to fund technoogy. Project won the Ontario Hospital Association 'Best Technology' award
OPERATIONS
- Created partnership between City of Brandon, Regional Health and Regional School Board to fund construction of citywide shared fiber optic data ring
LEADERSHIP
- Implemented ITIL incident management best practice at City of Brandon and Champaign County Government improving IT service and support
- Worked with Finance to determine ROI for AS400 mini computer upgrade project.
- Designed IT Roadmap that aligned IT employee activies with City's strategic goals to improve performance
- Implemented Regional (USA, Canada, Costa Rica, Brazil and Columbia) IT Service Desk at World Animal Protection to better resolve issues and manage escalation remotely
- Won customer Excellence award 3 years consecutively at Toronto Grace Hospital for technology support and service
- Implemented online project database, using SharePoint and City's Intranet, to provide access to project status information - charter, scope schedule
PROJECTS
- Implemented standardized project management processes, at Parador Interactive, for tracking project progress from project initiation to closure
- Build PMO at Parador Interactive, implementing standard templates for project charter, scope, change and quality.
- Using PMBOK framework, build PMO at Champaign County Government using SharePoint and Intranet as repository for project procedures
- Introduced online project managment at Toronto Grace Hospital using Excel, Outlook and corporate Intranet to store and track project documentation
STRATEGY
- In consultation with senior teams, developed and implemented IT Strategic Plans for City of Brandon, Champaign County Government and Toronto Grace Hospital
- Implemented IT Governance at City of Brandon and Champaign County Government to reduce project costs and align IT activities to strategic objectives
TEAMWORK
- Adapting Balanced Scorecard for ICT, designed ICT strategic map with accompanying metrics for monitoring progress
- Worked with States Attorney to develop data analytics strategy and implement process for justice information workers with online access to statistical reporting using corporate Intranet
- Coached staff at Regional offices on use of project management processes and template use
- Facilitated mission and vision workships at City of Brandon to align IT department initiatives with City's Strategic goals
