Main Contaminants in U.S drinking water:
-E.coli
-Salmonella
-Cryptosporidium,
-Metals such as lead
-Disinfection byproducts
Criteria on water quality:
-How much of a chemical is present in surface water and if it is likely to harm aquatic plant/animal life.
- How much of a specific chemical is present in surface water before it is harmful to human health
*orange circles and locations with asterisks represent cities that are listed twice due to having multiple water supplies that are identified as highly contaminated

Overall Conclusions
- There a lot more landfills on the east coast than the west coast
- There are more landfills concentrated in the areas with worse water quality
- There are more landfills than there should be
*Sorry for some of the static audio, I can't get it to go away
- Tend to be located near populated areas, leading to a decline in health
- The higher density of plants in a state, the higher concentration of Carbon Dioxide
- The cities with the worst water quality are in state with high carbon emissions or have water supplies near power plants
- There are many, many renewable sources of energy in the United States
- With so many sources, it is surprising that fossil fuels are still being used
- Solar and hydroelectric power plants are the dominant ones to use because they are the easiest ones to use
- There is more renewable energy power consumption in states with higher populations
- However, the power consumption of each doesn't directly correlate to the renewable power plants in each state
- With better efficiency, there could be less and smaller plants in the future
- There might be more renewable plants in the future to replace the fossil fuel plants
