Hunter gatherer’s lives were shaped by their environment by spending their time hunting animals, fishing and gathering. Hunter gatherers lived in Africa. They hunted small animals like rabbits, capybaras, and picked berries. The Hunter gatherers took so many berries that the animals weren’t able to eat so the animals died out. They also hunted so many animals that a lot of them became extinct. They also did not have permanent homes and were nomads because they were always on the go to hunt for animals. They moved from place to place daily hunting and gathering for their needs. Since they were always on the move, they didn’t have permanent shelters. They moved to where they could find food to survive.
Hunter gatherer’s daily life was spent foraging or hunting food from their environment. They spent their days hunting small animals, fishing, and gathering berries and other vegetation they could eat. They were nomadic and moved around frequently searching for food. This was the only way of life for humans until about 12,000 years ago when archaeological studies show evidence of the emergence of agriculture. Human lifestyles began to change as groups formed permanent settlements and tended crops.
3. Describe The time in which they lived.
Hunter gatherers lived up to 12 thousand years ago. Trees and forests covered the land. You could hear the howling of the animals that roamed the land. Hunter gatherers in prehistoric times lived in groups because there was safety in numbers. They were able to protect themselves from enemies if they were in larger groups. During this time period, hunter gatherers did not depend on growing food and they had no way to store the food they found
Some of the Hunter gatherer events were inventing fire. This red, burning flame created needed heat from the icy weather. They were also able to scare away animals and also they were able to cook their food. This benefited them because they were able to eat food that was healthy and cooked instead of only eating nuts and berries. Other events they may have experienced could have been seeing different types of animals depending on where they moved to. For example, some animals only live in colder climates while others live in warmer climates.Another event hunter gatherers experienced was the Ice Age.They had to keep moving to find food and to make clothing with the animal skin and fur.
