Sara and Matt had a daughter named Kayle.
First few weeks of life Kayle was a thriving, beautiful baby with blue eyes. Growing at a normal rate.
At 6 weeks old, Kayle began crying all day and all night.
Doctors told Sara and Matt they were being overly anxious and overprotective new parents
At 3 months old, Kayle's symptoms and crying was getting even worse. They sought out a specialist.

Urology (urine system): hernia, rashes, low urine

Takes x-rays
Wants to do surgery
Feels there's no urgency for surgery
Matt and Sara were very concerned about how different the approaches to Kayle's problems were.
Fears:
Worried the long-term use of antibiotics would make her body immune and would eventually stop working.
Will need surgery by age 8 or younger.
Not many clinical trials done because of the criticism from other doctors.
Program location

Stress
I choose the surgery route for Kayle due to the fact that as Kayle is approaching being 6 months old, she is already developing infections and becoming immune to antibiotics. Kayle could eventually become resistant to the medical treatment all together.
Pros: quick fix & happy, healthy baby, 95-98% chance of success
Cons: hospital stay, 5-3% chance of not going well, expensive, many future appointments
