Unemployment rate among youth in the age (18-29 years) is 26.7%.

The percentage of unemployment among youth in the age (18-29 years) who have a university degree and above is 41.5% and 29.5% for those with a medium technical degree

Passionate about the project

I have 14 years’ experience within the development field ,working closely with local communities and managing projects in the various programs such as economic development ,recruitment, housing, education, capacity Building, and children at risk mainly I work with NGOs ,Through my work in UCCD which enrich my experience to work closely with academic sector

UCCD project providing career guidance and employability skills to public university students in preparation for the labor market .

The project works in national issue which affect the future of youth and the Egyptian society

Project bridging the gap between the Egyptian education system & the labor market needs

The project outcomes are achieving (SDGs) the objectives of sustainable development

I have a good experience to coordinate and follow up with the project team and program partners

Building the capacity of the project team.

Networking with other organization which interested in employment issues (governmental , private , civil society ) sectors

Connecting the graduate students with labor market through technology & job fairs

Establishing youth forum included the graduate students to sustain the relation among them , empower them to share their knowledge and best practices with others

Working on UCCD Sustainability

Create technology employment platform

Risks and suggested plan to manage them

Low awareness of the students to prepare themselves and their skills to suitable of the labor market

Organizing raising awareness activities for the students about the requirements of the labor market such as visits to private factories and companies , meetings with a group of successful models of businessmen to present the challenges that they have faced

Designing marketing plan for the project through ( brochures, social networking sites ) about the training programs and available opportunities in the project

Create social media pages to share live sessions models of the training which encourage students to join centers

Some of students do not accept the new ideas and methods which offered through this project

Forming university students committee to identify the students' opinions, reasons for not accepting the new ideas and methods presented, and conducting a student satisfaction survey ,interviews with different groups of students to learn directly about their suggestions

Holding meetings with the executing company of the training and work on the multiple methods and ideas that are presented and ensure that the content keep up their needs

Review ideas and methods which offered through this project to be sure that matches with student needs

The partner university do not support the project , and depend on the bureaucratic system

Institutionalize the relationship between the project and the university through forming a work group that is involved in managing the project instead of dealing with individual and documenting the agreements

Use integration and co-operation strategy with the partner universities

Arrange the meetings to present the results and successes stories which achieved by the project, conduct direct interviews with a group of successful study cases

Center management team unable to implement their roles and responsibilities

provide technical support and build the capacity of the Center's staff through training and technical support

Hold exchange visits with centers teams in other governorates

Follow-up and evaluation the efficiency and effectiveness of the Center's staff

Role add to my professional career experience

The project aims to work with the youth in the pre-graduation stages to join labor market, which will enrich my experiences in dealing with unemployment issue from a new perspective .

Direct coordination with the Egyptian universities will add to me a new experience of the partnership methods with government sector

Working with UCCD team will be a good experience how to manage training centers

Management Skills

Planning - Organizing - Guidance - Monitoring and Evaluation :are the main basic skills for the project manager to be able to implement the successful project through manage resources effectively such as (individuals - funds – assets)

My experience and background relate to management Skills

I have 14 years of experience with CEOSS in managing projects in various development fields Currently I managing 5 different projects at an estimated cost of 65 million Egyptian pound in partnership with 50 partner NGOs

communication skills

with different kinds of characters : Helps the project manager to communicate with all individuals and partners through a good understanding of each others, strengths , weaknesses points and overcome any differences

My experience and background relate to communication Skills

I have the ability to communicate with internal parties (team, accountants, procurement officer, human resources officers) and external parties (private sector, government sector, civil society, research organizations, and media) while implementing all the projects

Solving Problem

and decision making skills :Interacting with any problem which face the work ,analyzing the causes of this problem, and developing the solution, It depends on the use of skill to respond to an unfamiliar situation

My experience and background relate to Solving Problem Skills

I have the ability to study the problems which facing the projects so I study the intervention options and the best case scenarios
