Kakadu National Park is the largest national park in Australia. It is located in the Northern Territory and about half the size of Tasmania. Kakadu National Park has two main seasons; wet and dry. However there are more Aboriginal seasons, six to be exact.

other half is relativity flat.
Kakadu National Park is a big national park both size wise and tourism wise with 200,000 visitors annually pre-covid. They come to visit the beautiful aboriginal sights and rock paintings as well as the animals like the quoll, tree frogs, saltwater crocodile etc.
Kakadu National Park was made to protect the many aboriginal sites that existed there. In 1970 it was officially declared a National Park.
Kakadu National Park is one of the oldest places where Aboriginal people have inhabited. This is proved by the many fossils and archeological evidence that have been discovered there. The rock paintings is also fascinating to look at
