  • He founded the American Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1885.
  • He’s most known for inventing the telephone in 1876.
  • Bell also refined the phonograph.

-wasn't allowed to go to college, so saved up to go to yale as a farmer

-later went on to invent the cotton gin and introduce the interchangable parts to america

-historians argued that it may have unintendidly started the civil war
