How To Make

A Prezi Presentation

Create An Account

STEP ONE

The first step to creating a Prezi is to make an account.

Go to www.prezi.com

Click - the 3 bars on the top right of the screen.

Select GET STARTED

Once in Get Started

STEP TWO

Choose basics and select JUST THE BASICS

This is a free account

Use your real information and TD email to sign up. DO NOT USE YOUR TD Password - choose one that you will remember!

Now that you are logged in...

STEP THREE

Choose a new presentation.

Pick a template that you like by clicking on it and selecting use this template.

Novice templates will be easier to use!

Creation Time!

It is now time to make your Prezi.

You can edit any text by simply clicking on it.

You can change the SIZE the colour, and

even the font that you use

All of these are changed using the tool bar at the top when you have CLICKED INTO a text box.

Pictures

At the top, click on +Insert - Image.

You can only upload an image that you saved from your computer on the basic addition.

If you would to access a photo again please be sure to save it/download it into your p-drive.

Also be sure to copy and paste the link of all photos and sources that you use for your presentation (once on the photo- right click and select Copy Link Address. Paste the link directly underneath the photo.

Text Boxes

At the top, click on +Insert - Text

You can choose to size your text box by dragging the corners and sides any which way.

Text boxes can be put ANYWHERE in your presentation that you would like!

If you would like to add a new bubble or space to write things onto your Prezi, click +Insert - Topic.

A new bubble will pop up that you can move and edit however you would like!

Other Changes

STEP FIVE

In order to move around your Prezi you need to zoom in and out using your mouse.

Once you have zoomed in or out you can edit wherever on your Prezi that you would like.

Most things on your Prezi you can change - colour palette, background images etc.

You can even add Youtube videos! (that will play in Present mode)

You can also edit the path of your presentation by dragging topics and subtopics around on the left hand side tool bar (on the main edit page).

SAVE & SHARE YOUR WORK!

STEP SIX

In order to save your changes, click the small cloud with a checkmark in it on the top lefthand side of Prezi.

This will synch all of your changes to your account for you to go back into late.

Share your work by clicking the Share button at the top of the page and select View Link. Choose Create New Link. In the box, write your First and Last Name and select Create Link. They copy the link that is provided and paste it into the comment box using the Submit button on Edsby.
