Can states ban same-sex marriage and refuse to recognize these marriages from another stater?
IN DEPTH:
In 2015, same-sex couples were finally able to marry their significant other. Same-sex marriage had been denied also violating the Equal Protection Clause and Due Process Clause. Equal protection means the government can't treat individuals differently because of their personal life.

This is important because the law is preventing something they should have absolute no control over.

Opinion
The state of Ohio must allow same-sex marriage.
In my opinion, I agree with the final verdict. I agree because the state has no control over the rights of people.
The Court's decision gave multiple same-sex couples the chnace to take their relationship to a further step.
The Court's decision finally gives the couples the oppertunity to marry their significant other without being denied.

It affects people around me by giving them the chnace to marry anyone they desire
This relates to events today for people view the case. There are still states that do not approve of gay and lesbian marragie.
