When it happen and who was involved
- This happened on September 15th, 1935
What happened
- A woman was peering over a bridge above a stream and made a gruesome discovery
- The remains were identified as Isabella Kerr and Mary Rogerson
- Also, he strangled his wife with his bare hands on September 15th, 1935
- There were maggots found on the victims bodies and were sent to a lab and they were indentified as blowfys
- Parts of the victim's bodies were wrapped in newspaper
Why did he do it?
Why did he do it
- He murdered his wife in a fit of rage, whom he suspected was having an affair
- After being disturbed by the housemaid, he proceed to murder her to before dismembering the bodies in an attempt ti hide their identities before dumping them
What happened to the killer?
- On November 5th, 1935, he was charged with murder and was later hanged on May 12th, 1936 by having a petition for Ruxton's mercy receiving over 10,000 signatures
