Keeping the Church Operational
Option 1 - Relocate Worship
- Relocate office staff/space to the Social Hall.
- Install temporary drywall partition in the Lobby to close of the space to be demolished.
- Start demolition of the Education Center Building and Addition.
- Procure materials for the Vestibule and Office Addition.
- Temporarily relocate the Worship Space to the Social Hall while demolition, underground, concrete, and steel construction occurs for the Lobby addition.
- Continue to use Social Hall for worship if desired.
- Install temporary access walkways into the Existing Lobby. If desired, temporary tunnels could be constructed through the Construction Site. Coordination and review with Little will be needed to determine egress numbers/doors required.
Operations
Option 2 - Use Existing Worship Space, Walking Distance Concern
- Follow same progression as Option 1, but install temporary doors in temporary wall along with sidewalk between new Education Building and existing Social Hall.
- Access walkway from Lower Parking Lot and/or through the Social Hall.
