Increase in population

Less rural land

Could the possible future of Auckland's housing market be seen through past countries and their markets.

Can we adjust to the new layout of houses? No backyards, less privacy, and more apartments?

There are many solutions and ideas through newspapers, academic articles and opinion pieces that can help paint a picture of a possible future for Auckland housing.

With Auckland identified as a great place to work with many jobs, the future may see more high rise apartments close to the city centre.

All the factors bringing people to Auckland could provide economic growth for the future.

Market crash?

Farming loss

No backyards

The

FUTURE

Why we have chosen to remove this...

SEVERITY

We originally included severity as one of our sub-topics, however due to the lack of academic articles and reliable evidence we decided to remove it from our research. Focusing on three sub-topics allows us to then dig deeper and gather a clear understanding in order to answer our main research question.

In this section of our updated concept map we have included our first draft. By including this it shows the transition of our research to where we are now. We have also expanded our concept map to show the

though processes we have had throughout our assignment and how we have come to our final conclusion.

HAS AN EFFECT ON...

Over the last few years the Auckland housing market has had a major impact on everyday life for many New Zealanders.

The Economy

-Tax on house profits

-Migration. When the economy

is performing well migration soars

-No way out of the housing crisis

without economic pain

-Economic risk due to high

mortgage debts with household

owners. If the market crashes then it could have a huge impact on the finacial system.
