INTRODUCTION

The home of this rare destination that has a pinkish beach sand is in Matnog, Sorsogon. Matnog is a coastal municipality at the southmost tip of Sorsogon, the place has been gaining ground as a must-visit destination in Region 5, the Bicol Region, it is because of its various sun-kissed islands that are some are white and some are pink. In addition, with its crystal clear waters, lush vegetation chalky beaches, and rich marine life it provides endless opportunities to explore, play, and unwind. If there’s a grey-sand beach, a white-sand beach, and a black-sand beach, pink-sand beaches are also a thing. It may not seem obvious in photos, but the pinkness of Subic Beach will amaze you when you get there. Base on my reasearch, everyone can see the red coral pieces that looks like tiny particles on laundry detergent powder. There are thousands of broken coral particles everywhere that they transformed the white fine sand into a fairytale-looking one.

THE PROBLEMS AND IT'S SOLUTION

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

1) Accommodation/Food and Beverage Services

PROBLEM 1

1) Build small hotels in the beach to accommodate all the tourist, and in that way they can stay overnight in the beach with a relaxing place to rest. Tents can be set-up in the beach but the comfortness is different when tourists are resting in a quiet and cold room, hotels can also provide jobs to the locals and when there is hotels there will also be food and beverage services that the beach do not have. It is so hassle for the tourist to buy the foods that they will cook in the mainland and bring it in the beach where they can prepare and cook it, but if there are hotels there will be a dining place like restaurants or cafeterias for the convenience of the tourist.

SOLUTION 1

PROBLEM 2

2) Tourism Products

2) In my researches, I didn’t see any tourist to have tourism products and that means subic beach are not focused on doing such thing. Making and selling tourism products such as souvenier items and foods can generate employment to the locals and it will also generate income. So it is advisable to make and sell tourism products that can also be one way or promoting and advertising the amazing destination.
