Communication Issues that Come from Religion Differences in Families

Stats

  • These are some stats regarding Religion in Families

Stats

According to TheGuardian.com

Almost 1,200 children, aged between five and 12, in the US, Canada, China, Jordan, Turkey and South Africa participated in the study. Almost 24% were Christian, 43% Muslim, and 27.6% non-religious. The numbers of Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, agnostic and other children were too small to be statistically valid.

At least 27 percent of Americans are estranged from a member of their own family, and research suggests about 40 percent of Americans have experienced estrangement at some point.

The most common form of estrangement is between adult children and one or both parents — a cut usually initiated by the child.

  • Whether Pagan, Atheist or any of the millions of other religions that people believe stronger than christianity this response is something you are very likley to hear

Whats the Difference between Agnostic and Atheist

Agnostic

Technically, an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a god, while an agnostic is someone who doesn't believe it's possible to know for sure that a god exists. It's possible to be both—an agnostic atheist doesn't believe but also doesn't think we can ever know whether a god exists.

How the world is heading already.

Atheism

Worldwide, the total number of religiously unaffiliated people (which includes atheists, agnostics and those who do not identify with any religion in particular) is expected to rise from 1.17 billion in 2015 to 1.20 billion in 2060. In the US, about a quarter of the population identifies as religiously unaffiliated today—up from 16% in 2007. In the United Kingdom, in 2017, 53% of adults described themselves as having no religious affiliation.

Paganism

Based on the most recent survey by the Pew Forum on religion, there are over one million Pagans in the United States. Up to 0.4% of respondents answered "Pagan" or "Wiccan" when polled

What is a satanist?

Satanism

Satanism is not what the average person believes it to be. Satanists are not a group of devil worshippers; in fact, Satanists don't believe that Satan is real. They believe that each person is their own God. The reason they take this name is because Satan wanted to be his own God in the stories from the bible.
