Company Information

The Background

  • Located in the South Islands of New Zealand is Lake Pukati Lodge. Owned by New Zealander, Peter Slater, and his Indonesian friend, the Lodge was opened for the rich and the elite.

  • He started the up-scale lodge because he knew rich travelers had frequently complained that local options for accommodations were below overseas standards. He also wanted to create a peaceful retreat for stars and public figures who constantly deal with the stress of being in the public eye.

  • He and his partner bought 69,000 acres and created a big-game reserve with a lodge and other outdoor activities.
