A bulb is a part of the plant that grows below the surface of the ground and works to produce a shoot. The bulb consists of many different layers, or dusted segments and is the storage unit in which the plant grows from. An example of some foods that we eat which contain bulbs, are garlic, onion, fennel, leek and even spring onion.
A flower of an edible plant is the part of he plant that you can eat. All vegetables have flowers in order to produce something edible. The flowers vary in appearance and is often added into dishes such as curry, soups to add more flavour. Some examples vegetables that are eaten with their flower are artichoke, broccoli, cauliflower etc.

A fruit is a part of the vegetable that contains seeds that is formed in flowering plants. Fruit that is from vegetables are found in the top part of the plants and are produced from the flowers because the flower is the reproductive part of the plant. Some examples of fruit that is formed in vegetables are cucumber, eggplant, fuzzy melon etc.
Fungi are heterotrophs, which means that they recieve energy from all organic substances. Fungi can be found in lots of places, such as plants, animals, human ski and even in in the microscopic crevices in CD-disks! Some examples of some fungi is yeast, mould and mushrooms.

Leaves are a plant organ and is the part of the plant that you can eat. The stem produces a shot and from that grows the fruit and the leaves. They from different types of plants vary in their appearance, for example some can be big and have imprints all around them, while some can be shaped differently. Some examples of vegetables that we eat with their leaves are bok choy, cabbage,brussel sprouts etc.

Roots are the bottom part of the plant that keeps the plant upright and holds it in place. The roots also absorb the nutrients, minerals and water from the soil and then transfer it to the plant. Some examples of vegetables that are classified as root vegetables, are carrots, beetroot, parsnip etc.
A seed is the result of the reproduction of a plant. It carries an embryonic plant that is encased within a protective outer layer and the plant can be grown when planted and fed. They grow in pods and with some vegetables, they can be eaten with. Some examples of fruits and vegetables that can be eaten with their seeds are snow peas, pomegranate, sweet corn etc.
Stems are one of the main structural axes of vascular plants which provide structure and support for the plant which keeps it upright and keeps the leaves in the light. The stem also provides a place to keep the plant's fruit and flowers and also carry nodes and buds, which holds leaves and branches of the plant. Some examples of the vegetables we eat along with their stems are asparagus, celery, kohlrabi etc.

Tubers are a part of the stem that are much thickened and underground. The tuber is also used to store nutrients and water that are valuable. This is an important part of the plant because it needs to be used when there are periods of drought or during the winter months, where there are limited resources for the plant. Some examples of plants that have tubers are potatoes, yams, taro etc.
