#10 : Starfield COEX Mall

People call Seoul one gigantic shopping mall! They're right! There are many malls in Seoul, and one of them is Starfield COEX Mall. It was run by the Korea International Trade Association and designed by the U.S. interior company R T K L in May 1997. That big underground mall is near the middle of Seoul, and Fun Fact : It is called COEX because of the CO in convention centers and the EX from the exhibition halls!

#9 : haeundae Beach

The Haeundae Beach is a famous beach in Busan filled with tourists and Korean people. It is famous for the various cultural events and festivals and Summer is a perfect time to go there. It is roughly 1.5 km long, a 30 to 50m wide area and that makes it a perfect spot to swim in.

#8 : Seongsan Ilchulbong

The Peak

The Seongsan Ilchulbong, also called ‘Sunrise Peak’ is a tuff cone made because of a Surtseyan-type hydrovolcanic activity. It is east of Jeju Island made almost 5000 years ago! Some people say that it resembles a gigantic ancient castle! It is 182 meters high, and it has a volcanic crater on the top that has a good view of the ocean on the peak.

The Garden Of The Morning Calm is a beautiful garden filled with trees and lakes northeast of Seoul, at Gyeonggi Province. It was made by Han Sang-kyung because he had a vision of creating a beautiful garden representing the beauty of Korea. Han Sang-kyung named it The Garden Of The Morning Calm because of an Indian poet named Sir Tagore because he described Korea as The Land Of The Morning Calm.

Jirisan Mountain is one of the many mountains in South Korea. It is located in Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do, and was designated as a national park in 1967 because it has the largest country with a large conservaton of biodiversity.

N Seoul tower is a famous tourist attraction that has an observation tower, a museum, an open hall, and a souvenir shop in in the middle of Seoul with a beautiful view of the city at night. It was built by the architects in Jang Jong Ryul in 1969, completed on December 3, 1971, then open to the public in 1980. Fun Fact : It was named Seoul Tower then it was changed to N Seoul Tower. The N means new, Namsan, and nature.

#4 Changdeokgung Palace

Changdeokgung is another wonderful palace of the Five Grand Palaces made by the Joseon Dynasty. It was built by the kings in the Joseon Dynasty in 1932 for the royal families. It is east of Gyeongbokgung, another grand palace made by the kings, near the middle of Seoul.

#3 : Namiseom Island

Namiseom Island is a wonderful tourist spots with beautiful parks and trees. It was made because of the construction of the Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944. It is at Chuncheon 63 km from Seoul, and has a crescent like shape and has a lot of beautiful trees. Fun Fact : The island was famous for the movie “Winter Sonata”!

#2 : Seokbulsa temple

Seokbulsa is one of the beautiful hidden gems of Busan. It is filled with gigantic Buddhist statues made from sandstone. It is north of Busan in the side of Mt. Geumjeongsan. It was built by Cao-Hyun because of the beautiful rock formations and the sandstone he saw in 1930 during the occupation of Japan in Korea. It is now a marvelous hiking and tourist spot in Busan.

#1 : Gyeongbokgung Palace

The Gyeongbokgung Palace is a wonderful palace in the center of Seoul built in 1395. It was the home of the Joseon Dynasty's royal family until it was destroyed by a fire in the Imjin War but it was rebuilt in 1554. It is now a famous tourist attraction today filled with ancient history.
