  • Karenni people are minority ethnic group also knows as Kayah Li Pu and located in Myanmar(Burma), South East Asia.
  • About Karenni History
  • How they were unknown and struggle to progress because of the civil war

WHY?

  • It is very important to me to learn more about history, the cause, effect and all the connection because the civil war has been happening in Karenni states of Myanmar lasted more than six decades and it still happening today.
  • It is up to our generation to learn, take stand and make change so that history won't repeat it self like it did in the past.

people seemed to forgotten small minority ethnic group who were apart of big change in the history, unlike large and powerful country, because they were minority and they were not recognized.

British recongnize Karenn Independent in 1948 becaus eof their assistant fought against Japenese during WWII

British left Myanmar(Burma) after WWII .

After Karenni gain Independent From Great British in 1948, Karenni leader U-Bee Htu Re was assassinated by Burmese military government and tried to occupy their land.

My mother says,

  • "Burmese army are constantly attacking villages, steal foods, burn villages, killed people, rape women, recruit child as a soldier: brainwash them, force villager to be porter for munition and threatening them to be spy on their people".
