In Moana there is a stone that is called "The Heart of Te Fiti." This is what calls moana to start her adventure. The stone is a gift from the ocean telling moana she is the "Chosen one" meaning she is the one that will restore the life and balance of the world.

In moana her grandma becomes ill. Moana wants to go beyond the reef to restore the heart of Te fiti and see whats beyond the reef but she doesn't want to leave her grandma. Her grandma does then tell her she needs to go save our people.

In moana there is a supernatural aid. The super natural aid is the ocean. The ocean is what first brings the stone to moana and tells her she is the "chosen one." The ocean also is what throws her back onto the boat when maui pushes her. The ocean always has her back and is always providing an aid for her, and guides her.

In moana the crossing of the first threshold is when Moana finally sets sail and she gets past the reef. This is moanas first challenge because she has never been out there and this is past her boundary. She must learn how to maneuver the boat and figure out where she is going.

in moana, when moana sets sail she ends up being pushed into a storm. The storm is what transports her to mauis island. So when she wakes up her boat is destroyed but she ended up on the island where maui lives. She was already trying to find maui and without that storm there was no way she could of found him. That is the belly of the whale.

In moana the road of trials is when she has to get through the obstacles with the crab tamatoa, kakamora, and Te Kā. The road of trials is when the hero undergos many challenges. So in moana on her way to restore the heart of te fiti she has to get past these monsters in order to save the day.

In moana the meeting with the goddess is when moana meets te fiti. Te fiti is "the goddess of life." She is the mother of islands. SO when moana finally gets to meet up with her she is meeting with the goddess of the story and she helps moana and provides her with a way home.

In moana the atonement with the father is moanas relationship with her dad. At the beginning his rule is no one can go past the reef but moana leaves to restore the heart of te fiti. When she comes back he is super proud of her and happy that she found love for voyaging.

IN moana the apotheosis happens more in the middle of the movie. This is when moana and maui go to defeat Te Kā and moana realizes that Te Kā is just te fiti without her heart. SO she steps up and is calm towards Te Kā so she restores the heart and she then transforms to te fiti.

IN moana the ultimate boon is once moana restored the heart of te fiti. She went through that whole journey going through obstacles and the whole time she was just trying to restore her island. SO to do that she had to restore the heart. So then once she got home her island was safe.

In moana, the magic flight is when te fiti in return and as a gift to moana for restoring her heart she recreated moanas destroyed boat and made her a new one so she could get home.

In moana the rescue from without was when moana was returning home and her granma tala comes back as a stingray. SHe then guides rhe way for moana to return home. SO this is the rescue from without because she helped moana find her way home.

In moana the crossing the return threshold is when moana finally returns home and everyone is so happy to see her. Crossing the return threshold is when the hero returns home from there journey and thats exactly what happens in moana she returns home after her adventure of restoring the heart .

In moana the master of two worlds is when moana comes home she becomes chief of Motunui. She is also the master wayfinder meaning she is the master of exploring. So overall she ends up being the "chosen one"by the water, master way finder, and chief of motunui.

IN moana the freedom to live is once moana returns home she re-starts up her peoples sailing history. They all get out there boats again and they set sail and are now allowed to go past the reef. This is all because moana showed it was possible and restored her islands hope.
