- the story has an intense atmosphere because of the actions that happened.

- This is the initial force because it's where the conflict was developed and started. And the character can never take back what he chose.
-Mr. Goranovsky saw the guy snatched the heavy lighter off the counter and slipped it into the deep right-hand pocket of his green raincoat. He then decided to tell the clerk.

Situational Irony example: Mr. Goranovsky was the good guy because he did the right thing but he ended up having the negative consequence. He reported the thief but in the end he was the one who got to be with the cop.
- it's situational because it is the opposite result of what is expected to happen; Mr. Goranovsky is the good guy, good guys usually get good things but he did not.
Dramtic Irony example: We know that the man in the green raincoat was a shoplifter but the clerk did not know.
The author suggests that in every actions we make there will be consequences; it’s either good or bad, but what matters most is what we did.
