Odysseus's Journey

Athena helps Odysseus by arguing with her father for his release. Posiden sends Odysseus storms and waves, sea monsters such as the Scylla and Charybdis. Zeus acts like the supreme ruler and most powerful.

"Three and four times blessed are those countrymen of mine who fell long ago on the broad plains of Troy in loyal service to the sons of Atreus." ( chapter 5 page 70 )

A symbol for Troy is a Sword because there was a war there.
